Sullivan Healthcare Consulting, Inc. is seeking highly motivated, metric-driven, experienced perioperative consultants for Surgery Consultant and Implementation Manager positions.  Consultants will use clinical knowledge to perform perioperative assessments; make recommendations to improve the effectiveness of perioperative case and patient flow in accordance with best practices; contribute to analyses and recommendations reports; participate in presentations; implement recommendations and facilitate group process as a full-time implementation manager; and/or manage the operating room (OR) on an interim basis.
 
Preferred candidates will have a Master’s degree in business, nursing, clinical informatics, public health, or a related field; a minimum of five years of experience at the perioperative director level; and a minimum of two years of experience as a perioperative consultant.  OR management experience in an academic medical center environment is strongly preferred. Candidate must have excellent oral/written communication and observation/interviewing skills and must be skilled at presenting formally to nurses, physicians, and administrators. Current nursing licensure in at least one state is preferred. Current US or Canadian passport required. Willingness to travel at least 80% of the time is required. Relocation is not required, but close proximity to a major airport is required.
