Maine Society of Anesthesiologists (MSA) Winter Meeting Presentation: "Adding Value to a Surgery Program"

Randy Heiser, President and CEO of SHC, presented a session titled “Adding Value to a Surgery Program” at the Maine Society of Anesthesiologists (MSA) Winter Meeting.  Mr. Heiser outlined the importance of a partnership between a hospital and anesthesiology groups in creating a highly marketable surgery program, as well as the reasons for implementing such a program.  He went on to discuss the key elements of marketable anesthesiology programs, including anesthesiology coverage plans, contract features, cost management, and quality patient care.
