DJ Sullivan Retires from SHC

ANN ARBOR, MI – January 9, 2009 – Founder Donald J. (“D.J.”) Sullivan announces his retirement from DJ Sullivan Healthcare Consulting, Inc. (“SHC”), effective January 1, 2009, after more than 35 years in the healthcare industry, with more than 30 of those years as a healthcare consultant. During his career, Mr. Sullivan started and managed successful consulting firms which initially specialized in nursing services consulting and long-range planning. In 1985, he decided to focus his expertise on all aspects of operating room and surgery consulting, developing and implementing successful surgery and medical staff program improvement solutions and strategies resulting in increased surgery case volume in his client hospitals and surgicenters. SHC is now an international perioperative consulting firm serving clients of all sizes, structures, and complexities. Under Mr. Sullivan’s direction, the company built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality consulting services supported by expert implementation assistance. Randall Heiser, President and CEO, says the firm plans to further strengthen SHC’s stellar reputation in the perioperative consulting industry with new programs and services.
